Sunday Morning Services
On Sunday mornings, we gather at 10:00 am for our corporate worship service. This is the central gathering of our community. We come to bring worship and glory to God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ through song, scripture, prayer, and the preaching and teaching of God's Word.
At Batavia Covenant, we value diversity in our worship and we worship with a variety of songs from different eras, genres, traditions, and even languages. We have many people in our church who love hymns and many people who love contemporary worship. You will find both of those (and more!) on any given Sunday at Batavia Covenant. We are seeking to be shaped by God as we grow closer to him and to each other through our corporate worship.
All ages are welcome in the sanctuary. We also offer Nursery care for birth to 2 years, the Minis class for 2 year olds, the Preschool class for our 3 to 4 year olds, and the Covenant Kids group for kids in grades K-5. When you arrive on Sunday morning, check in with our Covenant Kids volunteer in the lobby outside the sanctuary and they can point you in the right direction for each of those classes.
